About the role

Overview: Our client, a well-established financial services organization, is seeking a Senior Platform Administrator to support and enhance enterprise data integration platforms and ETL environments. This position will play a critical role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines that support business-critical applications and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Informatica Power Center, ETL development, SQL, and enterprise data integration, along with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise ETL solutions. Create and maintain Informatica workflows, mappings, and data integration processes. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex ETL and platform-related issues. Lead technical discussions during requirements gathering, solution design, and sprint planning. Ensure ETL solutions meet business requirements, performance standards, and best practices. Perform data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and data quality concerns. Optimize ETL processes and conduct performance tuning across complex environments. Develop and maintain ETL procedures, standards, and documentation. Provide accurate effort estimates and technical guidance for project work. Partner with architecture teams to review data pipelines and integration strategies. Recommend improvements to data architecture, platform design, and development practices. Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support governance initiatives and promote enterprise ETL best practices.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Platform Administration, ETL Development, or Data Engineering. Hands-on experience with Informatica Power Center or a comparable ETL tool. Strong SQL development and database experience. Experience supporting enterprise-scale data integration solutions. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data warehousing concepts and architectures. Experience working across multiple database platforms. Knowledge of enterprise data governance and architecture practices. Relevant ETL, Informatica, or data platform certifications. Experience performing advanced data analysis and profiling.
