Position Summary:
The Corporate Paralegal is a key member of the team supporting the Firm’s global Corporate Practice. This includes working directly with associates to provide corporate legal assistant services to the Firm’s NDA team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review, revise and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDA) in a fast-paced environment
This is a client facing position with frequent direct client contact
Maintain documentation of client NDA processes and procedures
Proofread and edit NDA documents
QualificationsEducationEducation : College degree is required
ExperienceExperience : 3+ years of M&A experience; expertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Skills and AbilitiesExpertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s)
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while working under pressure to meet important deadlines
Must be able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of partners, attorneys and staff
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients
Proficiency with various software programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, use of the Internet
Proficiency with online database management
Strong interpersonal skills is a must
Effective written and verbal communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Must be detail-oriented; possess strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy
