Job Description:
Safavieh is an upscale global home furnishing, rugs & accessories company. Based in the United States since 1978, Safavieh combines rug and home furnishings showrooms with a varied wholesale business. Supplied by its own production lines from the classical rug weaving centers of the world. The company is headquartered in Port Washington, New York. Permanent showrooms are open year-round in Las Vegas and High Point, NC. For four generations, the family behind the Safavieh brand has dedicated its talents and resources to providing uncompromising quality. Safavieh is looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated, and organized Credit Analyst. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, responsible, and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development, as this position will provide the basic foundation and necessary skill set for a great career.
Responsibilities:
Processing credit card orders Opening new accounts Reconciliation of accounts Answering any customer inquiries Work closely with sales manager and assistants Sending monthly statements to customers Releasing daily orders based on credit balances and pay history Collect past due accounts
Qualifications:
Entry Level - Will train the right candidate Bachelor’s degree preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work under deadlines Must be professional and have good job stability
Compensation:
$25.00-$27.00/hour Benefits – 401k (with 2% match), medical, vision, dental, paid holiday, vacation, and sick time Company shuttle service available to transport commuters to/from the Port Washington LIRR station Employee Discount Employees can also take advantage of a casual dress code, free parking, corporate discounts, fruits every day, and bagels every other morning.
