Brief Role Description: This role is reporting to Mgr. Vehicles, Methods & Tools. The High Voltage Lead (vEFK/CESC) is responsible for all High Voltage topics and processes for VWGoA (IECC facility + temporary support of other group facilities), ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements This role serves as the departments primary adviser on High‑Voltage product safety, providing employee training and strategic guidance to senior and executive leadership on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance Develop and maintain reporting solutions using phyton scripts. Possible Tasks within this Role Test vehicle updates (software and hardware), maintenance, repairs, inspections. Update vehicles to latest pre-series hardware/software. Road-test vehicles to ensure successful repairs. Analyze vehicles for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Support Integration Team for timely updates. Install test measuring equipment (Data Loggers, Test Parts, Breakouts etc.).Perform changes on High Voltage systems in fleet vehicles. High Voltage and vEFK/
CESC Responsibilities: Develop and implement standardized High Voltage processes and documentation, while advising leadership on risks through assessments, corrective oversight, and expert guidance for VWGoA and its subsidiaries Train employees in High Voltage safety and processes. Define and document work instructions. Monitor compliance with existing processes. Regular renewal and/or expansion of high-voltage certification. HV component changes incl. software updatesHV vehicle/test asset releases including documentation

Relevant Experience: 5-8 years Education and
Certifications: Required Associates degree/certification in automotive technology or similar work experience. EFK certification (DIN VDE 1000-10) or HVE Level 3 certified.vEFK Certification highly desired Compensation Data This position is located in Irvine, CA.
