Description: POSITION TITLE: Container UnloaderREPORTS TO: Nick Robinson/Jack RomeiroSUPERVISES: FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPTFUNCTION: Responsible for manually unloading deliveries in the receiving area, sorting incoming materials, and palletizing inventory and supplies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Unloading and sorting materials from overseas containers and other local deliveries Labeling and scanning inventory labels once materials are sorted. Help sustain 100% accuracy of bulk inventory locations. Auditing of aisles within the building for location accuracy If needed this position will flex into other warehouse/receiving roles (unloading, trash, fabric, etc.)Improve the cleanliness of the building. Plastic, cardboard, pallets Aisles are maintained for safety and efficiency. Fire exits to be kept clear.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read and understand paperwork (parts, locations, special instructions/notes)Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to ensure accuracy and hit customer ship dates. Lift 50lbs+Repetitive lifting/carrying of items 1-50lbs+ from floor level up to table or chest level.
