Description: Sanitation Technician - Second Shift (5:30pm-1:30am)
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at a leading salmon processing plant as a Second Shift Sanitation Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. Essentials duties and Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and facilities during the second shift.- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.- Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and proper sanitation, reporting any issues or concerns.- Operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and efficiently.- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs.- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment as required.- Assist with other production support tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:- Prior experience in sanitation, cleaning, or production environment preferred.- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in food processing facilities.- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the second shift.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
