Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Domestic Compensation Finance within the Cable Networks Finance team will manage headcount and compensation planning for Domestic Cable Networks operations.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring close collaboration across the organization, including executives from Human Resources (HR), Operating Groups, and Finance.
The candidate must serve as a finance domain expert on compensation expense, providing leadership in compensation planning, reporting, analysis, and metrics.
This role has financial oversight of a major component of Client’s annual operating expenses.
This position reports to the Vice President of Cable Networks FP&A.
Principal Responsibilities:
Provide financial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations supporting more than 1,000 staff employees.
Review commission payouts on a monthly basis.
Leverage financial systems to forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount for:
- Monthly closes.
- Quarterly closes.
- Periodic forecasts.
- Annual budgeting processes.
- Long-range planning activities.
- Provide leadership with information and insights to better plan and manage workforce costs.
- Partner with Human Resources to align headcount reporting and related expenses with organizational changes.
- Maintain strong working relationships with:
- HR Operations.
- Compensation & Benefits teams.
- HR Systems teams.
- HR Generalists.
- Finance track leads by groups and departments.
- Operating groups.
- Represent the Finance organization on initiatives impacting headcount planning, compensation reporting, analytics, and workforce forecasting.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.6–8+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, and accounting-related experience.
Media industry experience preferred.
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across various departments.
