About the role

Job Description: We are hiring technicians to support ongoing build out of a data center installation in the Reno area. These will be full-time, temp contracts. 4 month project starting on 10/15.Project involves installation of devices, with numerous copper and fiber cable connections. Structured Cabling and rack buildouts are sometimes included, but mostly in-rack jumper connections within existing facilities is all that's required.
Required Skills: Ability to read communication wiring diagrams, rack elevation drawings and construction packages. Experience wiring fiber-optic and copper network infrastructure. Ability to do basic construction (Example: Drill and mount a switch under a conference room desk)Attention to Detail: Understand and adhere to labeling standards, leave a site cleaner than you found it, clean/proper cable securing practices, etc.
Requirements: Many sites are managed under Federal regulations. As such a background check and drug test are required to be submitted and approved by regulators prior to on-boarding.
