About the role
Leading roadway design efforts for transportation projects across Colorado, the full-time remote Colorado Licensed Lead Roadway Engineer will manage multi-discipline teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality design execution from concept through construction support.
Key responsibilities:
Lead roadway design execution, coordinating with project managers and clients
Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, ensuring high-quality design standards
Support initiatives to improve design workflows and delivery efficiencyRequired qualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Colorado licensure preferred
6-10+ years of civil engineering experience, including 4-5+ years in roadway design
Strong proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and experience with CDOT projects
Demonstrated experience leading roadway design tasks and managing multiple projects
