The Role:
We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) experience to lead R&D process development and material qualification. You will own development activities from experimental builds through process optimization and qualification, working closely with materials, production, and engineering teams to transfer validated processes into manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize LPBF parameters using DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis. Plan and execute experimental builds and evaluate build quality, material properties, repeatability, and process stability. Investigate defects, process failures, and material-performance issues. Support powder/feedstock development, including characterization, qualification, reuse, and recycling. Develop and evaluate heat-treatment, HIP, and post-processing routes. Operate and troubleshoot R&D LPBF equipment and manage build parameters, layouts, and experimental plans. Analyze process and material data and convert findings into robust manufacturing processes. Prepare technical and qualification documentation and support technology transfer into production.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
