About the role
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate and promote employees safety and Food safety policies and practices including GMPEngages in repairing all assigned areas, equipment, machinery, set ups, and preventive maintenance functions The identification of all needed parts supplies necessary to support his assigned area and shift Maintain sound procedures to complete all Work Orders within a timely period Maintain the daily, weekly, and monthly record systems to support the Preventive Maintenance and Work Order system. Under minimum supervision, installs, maintains, repairs and/or rebuilds complicated machines and plant equipment. Disassembles problem equipment and determines extent of repairs necessary. Repairs, refits and/or replaces worn or defective parts Promote and participate on the development of junior technicians, one to one or group training sessions Practice and abide by all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Understand general operation of all equipment. Notify supervisors of any food safety concerns. Practices (GMPs)Understand Critical Control Points (HACCP)Support Food Safety Culture Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Product Quality protocols. Support the maintenance of the SQF system related to the plant, GMP's implementation, Food safety and quality regulations and FSMA compliance. Flexible Schedule and shift (Day or Afternoon), including weekends
Qualifications:
Electrical skills (motor change and/or install, control device change and/or repair, and control switch change and/or repair).Proficient on industrial machinery repairs Proficient on Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems including the use of multimeter Proficient on combustion and cooking systems Four (4) years of working experience in the Maintenance field (preferred Food Industry).Troubleshooting electric and mechanic systems Intellectual Innovative Problem Solver Quick Study Interpersonal Collaborative Self-confident Team player Motivation Optimistic Wants a Challenge Self-motivated We believe diversity drives innovation and success.
