About the role

Southern Hills Country Club is seeking part-time, seasonal Lifeguards to: Oversee and enforce swimming pool rules and safety regulationsAnticipate, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergenciesDeliver the unique Southern Hills' experience through exceptional service and warm hospitalityContribute an equal share to the team's success in all tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies Pool hours are typically 10:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays, and 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Operating hours will be reduced August 12th due to back-to-school. We will work around school schedules. Successful candidates must be 16 years of age or older, have a Lifeguard Certification, and be available to work weekends and holidays. Lifeguards must maintain "test ready" skills at all times and be able to meet physical requirements including complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat and sunlight.
