About the role

Google Ads & Meta Ads Manager (Part Time, Remote) We run paid acquisition for an ecommerce fabric brand. Our in-house content team produces creative, and an outside agency handles campaign builds and edits in our accounts. We need someone who can audit how our paid media is set up, direct the agency’s work, and tell us what to change to make the business more profitable.
Responsibilities:
  • Account and tracking audit (first 30 days)
  • Audit Google Ads and Meta account structure: campaign types, naming, bidding, budgets, audiences, and exclusions
  • Review conversion tracking across GA4, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads conversions, and Shopify orders, and identify where they disagree and why
  • Deliver a written findings document ranked by revenue impact, with recommended fixes and an owner for each
  • Agency management
  • Manage the agency’s day-to-day execution against a written weekly plan: campaign builds, budget changes, bid adjustments, and optimizations
  • Review the agency’s work before it goes live and send specific, written feedback
  • Track agency performance on a scorecard: deliverables completed, turnaround, error rate, and results against targets
  • Escalate repeated quality issues to the founder with examples
  • Campaign performance and optimization
  • Review Google and Meta performance weekly and recommend changes to budgets, bids, audiences, and placements
  • Build and maintain Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, including PLA performance
  • Audit the Google Merchant Center feed (titles, GTINs, images, pricing, availability, categories) and recommend fixes, since feed quality directly limits PLA results
  • Set up reporting that shows profitability by channel and campaign using contribution margin or blended MER, not platform-reported ROAS alone
  • Creative performance
  • Monitor which ads, formats, hooks, and products perform, and which are fatiguing
  • Send the content team a regular brief on what’s working and what isn’t, with the data behind each finding
Recommend which creative to produce, iterate, or retire. The content team owns production and final creative decisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years managing Google Ads and Meta Ads for ecommerce brands
  • Hands-on Google Shopping and Performance Max experience, including PLA feed optimization in Google Merchant Center
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and Shopify reporting
  • Experience managing agencies or contractors, including written briefs and performance reviews
  • Strong written communication for asynchronous work with a team in IndiaHands-on experience scaling ad budgets on Google and Meta while holding profitability (MER or contribution margin) within target, including how you decided when to increase or pull back spend
  • PreferredExperience with apparel, fabric, textiles, or home goods
  • Experience working with in-house creative or content teams
  • Google Ads or Meta certifications

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
