About the role
Planet Nugg is looking for a dependable, personable, and motivated Budtender to join our growing team at our Aquebogue, NY dispensary.
Please note:
All new hires will complete their initial training and onboarding at our Farmingdale, NY location before transitioning to the Aquebogue dispensary with the opening anticipated in early fall.
If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy helping customers feel educated, welcomed, and confident, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in the cannabis industry.
Previous cannabis product knowledge is a plus, but professionalism, integrity, and a genuine willingness to learn are just as important. If you're passionate about customer service and excited to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
