Job Description:We are once again working alongside a trusted repeat client in the military storage and facility solutions sector to hire a Military Sales Representative based in San Antonio, Texas.This opportunity is specifically suited to a former military professional who can use their firsthand understanding of military operations, culture and requirements to develop strong customer relationships and generate new business.Who We AreWe are a dynamic, globally connected recruitment and executive search agency with a proven track record since 2012. Its military portfolio includes armory and weapons storage, RFID asset tracking, aviation and combat gear lockers, high-density shelving, automated vertical storage, ammunition storage, wire security partitions and wider equipment storage solutions.The company has successfully delivered projects across military installations nationwide, helping improve equipment security, accountability, operational efficiency and mission readiness.The RoleThe Military Sales Representative will develop new business across military installations, federal agencies and defence-related organizations throughout San Antonio and South Texas.Using your previous military experience, you will engage credibly with military decision-makers, understand the operational challenges faced by different units and identify opportunities for specialist storage and equipment-management solutions.You will conduct site visits and manage the complete sales process from initial relationship development and needs assessment through proposal, procurement and close.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business across military installations, federal agencies and defence contractors throughout San Antonio and South Texas.Use your military background and network to build trusted relationships with commanders, contracting officers, logistics teams, supply personnel and facility managers.Identify upcoming storage, security, equipment management and facility improvement projects.Conduct site visits and surveys to understand operational requirements, available space, security needs and procurement processes.Recommend tailored solutions across armoury storage, weapons tracking, gear lockers, automated storage and wider military facility systems.Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, bidding, negotiation and close.Collaborate with internal design, estimating and project teams while maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline reporting.RequirementsPrevious service within the U.S. Armed Forces is essential.Strong first-hand understanding of military operations, culture, terminology and decision-making structures.Experience within military logistics, supply, procurement, facilities, armoury operations, aviation or equipment management would be particularly relevant.Previous sales, business development or account management experience is preferred, alongside a strong new-business mentality.An established network across Joint Base San Antonio or wider South Texas military installations would be advantageous.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to engage military and government stakeholders.A valid driver’s license, willingness to travel and the ability to access military installations as required.How to ApplyYou can apply for this role directly through LinkedIn, or by contacting me directly at dhean.khaliq@mackinnon-bruce.com.
