About the role

Commitment: Approx. 10–15 hours/week (Includes mid-week/pre-service rehearsal and two Sunday services) Salary and Time can be negotiated.
Role Purpose: We are looking for a dynamic worship leader who can seamlessly step into our rhythm, command a room with confidence, and lead our congregation in an engaging worship experience. This role requires musical versatility—someone comfortable bridging different styles (from traditional/blended to modern worship) while fostering a spirit of unity and excellence among our volunteer musicians as we continue to strive being "A Family. Through Christ. Serving All". We have a unique situation in that our worship experiences have a lot of built in people and support. We're looking for someone who can come in to what we are currently doing and enhance it to minister to all. Primary Responsibilities Rehearsal Leadership: Lead and direct weekly or pre-service rehearsals with clarity, pastoral warmth, and high musical standards, ensuring the team feels prepared and inspired. Sunday Service Execution: Lead worship vocally and instrumentally (as applicable) across two Sunday morning services, maintaining a seamless, distraction-free flow. Musical Versatility: Curate and lead a repertoire that honors multiple musical expressions and connects across generations, ensuring stylistic cohesion. Team Encouragement: Cultivate a positive, collaborative environment for volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists, nurturing their gifts while keeping rehearsals focused and efficient. Key Competencies Spiritual Depth: Aligning our worship experience alongside our Associate Minister and Senior Pastor's focus to glorify the Lord Jesus is central to what we are looking for. Room Command & Presence: A natural leader with strong stage presence who can guide a room, read a congregation, and set an inviting, worshipful atmosphere. Rehearsal Efficiency: Highly organized and musically proficient; able to run a tight, productive rehearsal without wasting time. Stylistic Agility: Demonstrated ability to perform and lead across diverse worship genres (contemporary, blended, traditional elements, gospel phrasing, etc.). Relational Intelligence: Approachable, collaborative, and able to build instant rapport with a new team of volunteers and staff.
Qualifications: Proven experience being involved in and/or leading a worship in a multi-service congregational setting. Strong vocal and/or instrumental leadership skills with the ability to chart or direct music effectively. Alignment with the mission and heart of our church community.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
