About the role
Regional Technical Specialist Help Regional Technical Specialist for Civil Works and Military programs administering P.L. 91-646 relocations (residential, commercial, tenant and temporary) under the Federal Relocation Assistance Program as well as facility and utility relocations. Function as the Regional Technical authority, apply new theories and standards to problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted and established realty practices and procedures. The incumbent will use his/her skills, creativity and mastery of real estate principles, policies, and methodologies to independently accomplish duties. Provide technical advice and training to personnel within the Districts on behalf of the Region. Advise districts concerning Non-Federal Sponsor oversight and crediting of relocation payments, to include residential, commercial tenant, not for-profits, facilities, and utilities. Serve as regional liaison with Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration, lead agencies for relocations.
