CTE Health Science (Grades: 9-12)

CTE Health Science Assist in the development of computer assisted learning techniques and curriculum. Assist in the structuring of a classroom environment for learning and for appropriate physical, social, and emotional development of students. Assist in the establishment of well defined steps for the student's acquisition of credits. Assist in the establishment of a system for evaluating students to determine mastery of assigned subjects that meet district and state guidelines. Assist in the establishments of a system for the inclusion of the family. Train students in career development skills, including but not limited to job interview, employee performance, leadership and entrepreneurship concepts, work safety, business management and training, human relationships, and personality development skills. Evaluate the grading structure of student jobs and improve the employer and student relationship. Develop programs and activities to improve student self-esteem and self confidence. Visit work sites regularly to observe assigned students in their work environment to improve their work habits and professional behavior. Perform other duties as assigned by the assigned Reconnection Center specialist, or designee. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
