With over three decades of experience, the team specializes in fully custom swimming pools and complete backyard transformations tailored to each property and lifestyle. The company is known for its craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to professionalism and reliability. Projects range from modern, elegant pools to tropical resort-style spaces, incorporating luxury features, spas, and water elements. Craft Master Custom Pools combines family-owned values with the capability to deliver high-quality, long-lasting outdoor environments.
Role Description:
The Pool Designer and Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in West Palm Beach, FL. This role is responsible for meeting with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for custom pools and outdoor living spaces. The Pool Designer and Sales Consultant will create design concepts, prepare visual presentations, and develop proposals that align client vision with technical feasibility and company standards. Daily tasks include guiding clients through material and feature selections, managing follow-ups, and supporting them through the sales process from initial inquiry to contract signing. The role also involves collaborating with the construction and operations team to ensure designs are buildable, accurate, and aligned with project timelines, while maintaining high levels of customer service, professionalism, and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
Strong Communication skills to clearly present design concepts, explain project details, and maintain professional client interactions. Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, including responsiveness, empathy, and a focus on long-term client satisfaction and relationships. Experience in Interior Design or related spatial design fields, with an eye for aesthetics, functionality, and outdoor living environments. Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, preferably in home improvement, construction, or design services. Background in Kitchen & Bath Design or similar custom residential design work is beneficial for understanding finishes, layouts, and luxury features. Knowledge of pool design concepts, outdoor living trends, and basic construction principles is a plus. Ability to interpret site conditions, measurements, and property layouts; comfort working with design software such as Pool Studio or CAD tools is preferred. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client projects, proposals, and follow-ups with attention to detail. Reliable transportation and availability to work on-site and visit client properties as needed. Prior experience in residential design, pool industry, or home remodeling sales is preferred but not required.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
