Position OverviewThe MDW Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the information industry. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and ensure successful implementation of initiatives. By leveraging analytical skills and industry knowledge, the Business Analyst will contribute to strategic decision-making and drive business growth. Ultimately, this role aims to optimize business performance through effective data analysis and stakeholder engagement.Mandatory Qualifications5 or more years as a Business Analyst related to the development and execution of technology related projects2 or more years as a Business Analyst related to healthcareExperience gathering and analyzing the needs of stakeholders and serving as a liaison between business managers and development managers/staff.Experience with facilitating /coordinating all required meetings with internal staff and user representatives/stakeholders regarding new/change projectsPreferred Skills2 or more years as a Business Analyst related to Medicaid projectsPrevious experience as Business Analyst in an IT environment working with State agenciesBachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePMI-PBA or CBAP Certification preferred
