About the role
*MUST GO ONSITE ONCE A WEEK IN PHOENIX*JCW has partnered with a leading credit union seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Manager based out of Phoenix, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity to supervise within the commercial loan documentation function, overseeing the preparation and review of complex and nonstandard loan documents while ensuring quality control standards, service level agreements, and compliance requirements are met across the team. The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial lending documentation professional who can operate as both a working supervisor and a team leader. You are detail oriented, well versed in commercial loan documentation requirements, and comfortable serving as an escalation point while maintaining your own individual production responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and validate complex and nonstandard loan documents.
Experience with documentation QC review, policy and regulatory alignment, and exception tracking.
Partner with Processing, Closing, Quality Control, and Servicing teams to ensure compliant and timely closings.
Coordinate with outside counsel on legal reviews and complex transactions.
Supervise including coaching, performance management, and team development.
Qualifications:
7+ years of Loan Documentation experience.
Hands-on experience with commercial and business loan documentation including loan agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, and entity documents.
Ability to travel onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
Experience with CRE and SBA loan documentation.proficiency in LaserPro preferred.
Strong understanding of commercial lending documentation requirements and governance standards.
