About the role
Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects involving architectural metal wall panels, roof panels, and related building envelope systems. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in metal panel building systems. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple commercial metal panel construction projects from award through closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelines.Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.Review project plans, specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents.Track project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, design, and field issues.Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.Monitor project costs and forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs.Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.Support field teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.Manage project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, and warranty items.Qualifications35 years of project management experience in commercial construction.Experience managing projects involving architectural metal wall panels, roof panels, insulated metal panels (IMPs), or similar exterior cladding systems is required.Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract administration.Experience with project scheduling and cost tracking.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).Experience working with commercial building envelope systems.Knowledge of fabrication, installation sequencing, and coordination of metal panel systems.
