Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Shipping Specialist role based in Tampa, FL. The Shipping Specialist is responsible for preparing, packing, and labeling orders accurately, ensuring all shipments meet company standards and carrier requirements. The role includes receiving incoming goods, verifying contents against documentation, and organizing products for storage or distribution. Day-to-day tasks involve maintaining inventory records, coordinating with carriers, and monitoring shipping timelines to meet customer expectations. The Shipping Specialist will also support warehouse operations, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve shipping or inventory issues.
Qualifications: Ability to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks, including verifying orders and documentation. Strong practical skills in Packing and Shipping, ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant outbound shipments. Competence in Forklift Operation and safe material handling within a warehouse environment. Experience with Inventory Control practices, including stock tracking and cycle counts. High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow standardized processes and safety guidelines. Basic computer skills for using shipping software, inventory systems, and email. Physical ability to stand, lift, and move packages throughout the workday, within safety limits. Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
