Housekeeper/Laundry - Las Colinas

Pay Range: $17.48–$19.00 per hour,

DOEEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available at all times to support resident care and comfort Maintain linens in good condition; remove from service any items with holes, stains, or excessive wear Collect resident laundry daily or as needed Label new resident clothing items as required Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens according to established procedures Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms in a timely manner Follow all sanitary processes and infection control procedures related to laundry services Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is needed Operate all laundry equipment and supplies safely and properly Report laundry equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the Administrator

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: Education and/or ExperienceGED or High School Diploma required One (1) year of related experience preferred Language Skills Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry and housekeeping procedures Mathematical Skills Basic math skills Reasoning Ability Ability to problem-solve and seek assistance when needed Certificates, Licenses, Registrations No certifications required
