About the role
Join the nation's #1 insurance company as a Bank Specialist (BS). BSmembersfocus on the education and transaction of our bank products with niche groups. Bi-lingual candidates highly preferred (Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Amharic, Tigrinya, & Punjabi). Previous bank employees or mortgage loan originators are favorable but no direct experience required. Compensation is base + bonus. Must be comfortable interacting with all kinds of people an as expert in bank and financial matters. Strong problem solving skills, comfortable working with basic numbers, and a generalunderstanding of money matters that areimportant to everyday people is a must. Ideal job for current college students looking for valuable work experience and a great income.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain company bank certification to marketcompany bank products which includes loans (vehicle/home/business), credit cards, and checking/saving accounts
Contacting and reaching out to prospects (leads are provided by agency but there is also an expectation that BS members develop their own lead resources)
Develop action plans to reach goals
Manage leads from the first point of contact
Close sales and identify roadmap of where client needs to go next
Set appointments for annual reviews
Maintain relationships developed by agent with various affiliates
Assist agent in achieving $15 million in new bank deposits and outstanding loan balances
