About the role
- Prioritizing orders and tasks
- Picking orders from storage racking
- Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
- Reading and deciphering orders.
- Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order.
- Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
- Packing the merchandise for delivery.
- Adhering to state health and safety practices.
- Keep working area clean.
- Break down empty boxes and dispose.
- Must be reliable, show up on time and be a dependable person
- Be able to operate a sit down forklift
- High school diploma or GED.Ability to read and interpret orders.
- Must speak, read, and write fluent English
- General computer skills required
- Ability to lift heavy objects. Up to 60lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehousing procedures is a plus.
- Previous 3PL or experience as a Fulfillment Associate or order picker is a plus.
- Previous shipping experience Familiarity working with FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS is a plus.
