About the role
Outboard Boat Technician Wanted! Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for an experienced Outboard Boat Technician to join our Georgetown service team. We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot, repair, and service boats with confidence in a fast-paced dealership environment.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair outboard engines and marine systems Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and hydraulic systems Perform inspections and maintenance Install marine accessories including electronics, GPS units, trolling motors, and audio systems Water-test and prepare boats for delivery Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with additional service department duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous marine or outboard technician experience REQUIRED Certified in Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or Honda outboards preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Understanding of marine electrical and fuel systems Ability to work independently while staying team-oriented Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Valid driver's license required Why Join Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers?
