Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Strategist & Video Content Creator who can develop social media strategies while taking ownership of video content creation, including shooting and editing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of social media trends, content strategy, and video production, with a proven portfolio demonstrating their ability to create engaging video content.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies for client accounts.
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for social media platforms.
Create engaging Reels, TikToks, and other video content.
Develop content ideas based on client goals, target audiences, and current trends.
Handle video production from concept and scripting through shooting and editing.
Manage content calendars and coordinate social media execution.
Stay updated with social media trends, formats, and platform best practices.
Analyze content performance and make recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective content.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, or a related role.
Must be Los Angeles-based/local and available to work in-office during the training period.
Proven experience developing social media strategies for brands or clients.
Strong video shooting and editing skills.
Portfolio is mandatory, with a strong focus on video work.
Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms.
Good understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
Strong communication and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
What We're Looking For:
Someone who can think strategically, create content, and execute — not just schedule posts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being on-site for shoots, working with clients, and turning ideas into high-quality video content.
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles
