Baker County Library District seeks a skilledInformation Technology (IT) Systems Managerto oversee its technology infrastructure, ensuring secure, innovative, and reliable IT services for staff and patrons. This leadership role enhances library operations through strategic technology management. IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop IT strategies, manage budgets, and oversee projects. Infrastructure & Systems Management: Ensure system reliability by maintaining networks, servers, workstations, and enterprise systems. Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Implement security measures and respond to threats. Technical Support & Training: Provide IT support and training to staff and public on technology tools. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor staff and promote a high-performance culture. Technology Innovation: Identify and implement emerging technologies for library services.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Informatics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of experience in network/system administration.
Preferred: Network+ and Security+ certifications. Strong skills in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, technical support, and leadership.
Special Requirements: Successful criminal background check, valid driver's license, and ability to travel for work-related duties.
Salary: $32.31- $39.27 per hour (DOE)
Benefits: Medical and dental insurance, Oregon PERS retirement plan Work Conditions: Office-based with occasional travel. Remote location work negotiable.
