About the role
About WiCiWiCi is an early-stage technology company building for the next generation of AI devices and personal intelligent experiences. We work at the intersection of AI, hardware, software experience, and local intelligent infrastructure. Our team has deep backgrounds in AI systems research, product design, hardware engineering, and serial entrepreneurship. This is an early and core role. You will help shape WiCi’s brand narrative, market presence, media communication, and external partnerships from zero to one. RoleWe are looking for a talent passionate about technology, media, and global communication to join WiCi’s PR, media, and business development efforts. You do not need to be an experienced PR or BD professional. We value curiosity, clear communication, strong execution, and fast learning.
What You Will Do:
- Help refine WiCi’s company story, website copy, media materials, social content, and external decks
- Translate complex AI / hardware / systems topics into clear language for users, investors, media, and partners
- Track global technology media and trends across AI, smart hardware, robotics, personal computing, and developer tools
- Build media, KOL, podcast, newsletter, and community lists
- Support media outreach, interview preparation, event applications, and communications planning
- Research potential partners across AI applications, developer communities, hardware brands, creators, and research institutions
- Prepare partnership materials and support BD follow-upProduce concise industry briefs on market opportunities and competitive trends
- What We Look ForStrong English reading and writing ability, especially for technology content
- Passion for AI, hardware, robotics, developer tools, or frontier consumer technology
- Internship experience in tech, startups, media, PR, VC, consulting, or technology media preferred
- Strong research, structured thinking, and communication skills
- Good taste in brand tone, storytelling, and content quality
- Proactive, reliable, flexible, and comfortable in an early-stage startup environment
