Job Description: The Bradley Group is currently hiring Production Workersfor a manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC. This is aTemp-to-Hire opportunityfor dependable candidates looking for long-term employment. Manufacturing experience is preferred, butnot required. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic who are reliable, willing to learn, and able to work a 12-hour schedule. Schedule This position follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, working 12-hour shifts: 1st Shift:6:00 AM – 6:00 PM 3rd Shift:6:00 PM – 6:00 AM The 2-2-3 schedule includes a combination of workdays and days off. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and additional hours as needed.
Job Responsibilities: Stack and adjust sheets of paper on production lines and pallets Prepare and band pallets for shipment Assist machine operators in wet and dry production areas Help restart the production process following downtime Clean machinery and production areas Sweep floors and remove paper debris, resin, and dust Empty trash cans and dumpsters Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all company safety rules and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: Manufacturing or forklift experience is preferred, but not required Previous paper manufacturing experience is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good attendance and punctuality are required Reliable transportation Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend and step up/down Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to read, write, and understand written instructions Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Must be willing to follow all plant safety policies and procedures
