My client is seeking a hands-onConcrete Foremanto oversee daily construction activities and lead a small field crew. This position is responsible for coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and production while working closely with project leadership.
This is a great opportunity for a construction professional with2–5 years of experiencewho has demonstrated the ability to lead a crew of approximately 4–6 employees.
Concrete Foreman Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily work activities for an assigned construction scope.
Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for upcoming work.
Assign tasks and communicate daily expectations to crew members.
Monitor production, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate activities with other trades and project personnel.
Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower records, and production information.
Identify and address jobsite hazards and reinforce safety procedures.
Participate in hands-on construction activities when needed.
Coach and develop less-experienced team members.
Communicate project updates, challenges, and resource needs to project leadership.
Concrete Foreman Qualifications
2–5 years of construction experience preferred.
Previous experience leading or supervising a small construction crew.
Foreman, Crew Lead, Lead Carpenter, or similar experience preferred.
Concrete experience is a strong plus; civil construction experience will also be considered.
Ability to read construction drawings and understand basic construction practices.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
