The Role:
Efficient Capital Labs is looking for a Partnerships & Community Manager to build one of our most important growth channels: our ecosystem. You’ll build relationships across VC funds, brokers and capital advisors, accelerators, fintechs, SaaS companies, founder communities, and other partners that work closely with high-growth companies — and turn those relationships into meaningful distribution, referrals, and pipeline. The opportunity is bigger than simply managing partnerships. You’ll help build new ways for ECL to reach and serve companies through referral programs, portfolio initiatives, embedded partnerships, joint GTM, content, events, and community. A key part of the role will also be developing embedded partnerships — working with partners to integrate ECL’s capital and financial products more directly into their customer experience. This could include using product integrations and data to create more seamless ways for customers to discover, qualify for, and access ECL products within partner ecosystems. You’ll also help build a broader community around ECL across founders, CFOs, investors, operators, and ecosystem partners. What You’ll OwnBuild and grow relationships across VC funds, brokers and capital advisors, accelerators, fintechs, SaaS companies, founder communities, and other strategic partners Develop partnership programs across referrals, portfolio companies, embedded finance, co-marketing, joint GTM, and community Identify opportunities to embed ECL into partner platforms and customer journeys, working across product, data, and GTM teams to create frictionless customer experiences Turn partnerships into active growth channels that generate distribution, referrals, and pipeline Build programs that make ECL genuinely valuable to our partners and the companies they serve Create and run founder dinners, CFO roundtables, partner events, community programs, and other high-touch experiences Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership to take partnerships from idea through execution Track partner performance and identify which relationships, programs, and channels are driving meaningful commercial impact Who We’re Looking ForYou’re someone who: Is an exceptional relationship builder and enjoys working with founders, investors, operators, and strategic partners Understands the startup and technology ecosystem and how different players within it work together Can think commercially and strategically about partnerships — beyond traditional co-marketing Is excited by the potential of embedded finance, data, and product-led partnerships Loves building from scratch and creating programs where no playbook exists Can move easily between strategy and hands-on execution Can lead cross-functional initiatives, aligning teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to take complex partnerships from concept to launch Has strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Brings creativity to partnerships, community, and events
What Success Looks Like:
You build Efficient Capital Labs into a company that partners want to build with, brokers and advisors trust with their clients, investors bring to their portfolio companies, and founders and CFOs want to stay connected to. You create partnerships that go beyond introductions, from strong referral channels and ecosystem programs to embedded experiences that make accessing ECL’s products seamless for customers. Over time, the ecosystem you build becomes a meaningful and scalable source of distribution, referrals, community, and pipeline for Efficient Capital Labs.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
