About the role
- Pick electrical material from sales orders provided by our inside sales team
- Learn to identify common electrical products including conduit, fittings, boxes, wire and other electrical supplies
- Count, pick, pack and stage customer orders accurately
- Load and unload company vehicles
- Make occasional local customer deliveries and vendor pickups
- Receive and put away incoming material
- Keep warehouse and staging areas clean and organized
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
- Dependable with consistent attendance
- Willing and interested in learning
- Detail-oriented — order accuracy is extremely important
- Comfortable working independently after training
- Able to follow written sales orders and instructions
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Able to regularly lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to approximately 70 lbs.
- Safe and responsible driver
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Electrical supply, construction, warehouse, hardware, auto parts or delivery experience is helpful, but not required.
- We don't expect you to know electrical material on your first day. We'll teach you. What we do expect is someone who shows up consistently, wants to learn, takes pride in getting orders right and wants to become a dependable part of our team.
