About the role

To support a global technology company in the aerospace and defense sectors, the full-time Government Contracts Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on government contracting, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance while working remotely for a six-month contract period. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership, providing business-focused legal guidance Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and government-related agreements throughout the contract lifecycle Advise on U.S. government contracting regulations and support international expansion initiatives Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar 7+ years of legal experience focused on U.S. federal government contracting Significant experience advising on FAR, DFARS, and related government procurement regulations Ability to provide practical legal advice directly to executive leadership
