IMMEDIATE NEED - EXPERIENCED CONVEYOR MECHANICS Millwrights Local 2232 is actively recruiting Journeyman and Apprentice Conveyor Mechanics for a long-term UPS project in New Orleans, Louisiana. This project is expected to run more than one year and offers steady hours, strong wages, and an excellent union benefit package.
PAY & BENEFITS: Max hourly wage: $41.73/hour Fringe benefits: $12.41/hour Total package: up to $54.14/hour Benefits include: Health Insurance Pension Defined Contribution Fund SCHEDULE 5 days per week 10-hour shifts Approximately 50 hours per week Long-term work - 1+ year CONVEYOR INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Candidates must have demonstrated, hands-on experience installing conveyor systems, including mechanical assembly, layout, alignment, component installation, and related material-handling equipment. This is not an entry-level conveyor position. We are specifically looking for individuals who can step onto an active installation project and contribute safely and effectively.
