About the role

This post requires mandatory physical presence within the US Geography.
About the role: Sellermate helps Amazon sellers, brands, and agencies get more out of their advertising - automating campaigns, optimizing spend, and turning complex ad data into clear action. We're hiring for Sales Lead in the US to own the market end to end: pipeline, deals, and closed revenue. You'll be selling and building the motion at the same time — running your own deals from first touch to close, figuring out what works, and turning it into a repeatable process we can hire against. This is a founding sales role, not a seat on an existing team. You'll have a product with real results behind it, a founder selling alongside you, and the freedom to define how we go to market here.
What you'll do: Own the US Sales — pipeline generation, qualification, demo, negotiation, and close. Sell into two segments: direct sellers/brands (7–8 figure) and agencies/aggregators managing multiple accounts. Run outbound yourself — targeted lists, personalized audit-led outreach, LinkedIn, events — and convert inbound and trial signups. Run the demo: diagnose the account's ad performance, show the fix in-product, and frame the ROI in the seller's own numbers. Represent Sellermate at US industry events (Amazon Accelerate, unBoxed, seller conferences) and turn them into pipeline. Feed the field back into the company — objections, lost-deal reasons, feature gaps — and work with product and CS on what wins deals. Hire and coach the next reps once the motion is proven.
What we're looking for:
  • Track record
  • Experience of Selling to Amazon.com brands / agencies
  • Experience closing deals in the $20k–$100k ACV range with a consultative, multi-stakeholder cycle.
  • Comfortable building pipeline from scratch — a meaningful share of your past number came from your own outbound, not just inbound or an SDR team.
  • DomainAmazon advertising, e-commerce, retail media, or martech experience strongly preferred.
  • Genuinely fluent in the customer's numbers — ACOS, TACoS, ad spend, margin — or able to get there fast. Our buyers are analytical and see through a surface-level pitch.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
