About the Role:
Dogtopia Milwaukee East Side is looking for energetic, organized, dog‑loving individuals to manage and maintain a safe playroom environment for our furry friends. The role is available for both morning and afternoon/evening shifts, includes extensive training, and offers opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
Engage, interact, and enjoy the dogs.
Caring for all dogs as if they were your own.
Maintain control of large groups of dogs when playtime is large and make good judgement calls on any problematic behavior.
Be on your feet showing dogs attention and care to ensure they abide by you as the pack leader in the room.
Actively monitor health and behavior issues and address them in a timely and effective manner.
Engage with customers from time to time and maintain a friendly, smiling demeanor for the camera.
Clean, clean, clean – keep the playroom tidy and safe.
Perform physical tasks such as daily cleaning, refilling water coolers, doing laundry, and taking out the trash.
Follow strict safety and health procedures, including proper handling of dog‑safe chemicals.
Qualifications:
Consistent and timely attendance.
A friendly attitude.
Attention to detail.
A willingness to work hard, improve, and pitch in for the team.
The ability to spend 70% of the time standing.
The love, affection, play, caring, and romping for our four‑legged friends.
A willingness to keep the environment clean and safe as a team effort.
Commitment to complete Dogtopia’s training program.
