Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (Labor Relations)
Location: Seattle, WA – Onsite
Pay Rate: $50–$55/hrEmployment Type: Contract with potential to extend or convert

- We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a shipping and logistics organization which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in HRIS change management, leaves of absence, and employee relations looking to further their career in labor relations and HR operations.
- Process HRIS change transactions (pay changes, transfers, retirements, terminations) in Dayforce and ADP per company guidelines
- Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, workers’ compensation, company leaves), determining eligibility and entering payroll data
- Partner with HR leadership on employee relations, grievances, coaching, and performance management in union and non-union settings
- Develop and deliver manager/employee training; update HR policies, forms, and processes
- Support HRIS, timekeeping, leave, and applicant tracking system maintenance and testing
- Essential Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in labor relations/HR leadership across union and non-union environments; bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred
- Dayforce and ADP experience required
Working knowledge of ADA, ADEA, EEO/Affirmative Action, FMLA, FLSA, and OSHABonus Qualifications
Shipping, logistics, or transportation industry experience
