About the role
- Direct day-to-day coordination of trade contractors, ensuring work meets the approved schedule and quality standards
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to plan ahead and anticipate potential issues
- Verify subcontractors obtain all necessary permits
- Act as the primary safety representative in the field and enforce quality control policies
- Lead regular contractor meetings and maintain daily reports and documentation in Procore
- Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes to the project team and trade contractors
- Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics
- Resolve jurisdictional disputes and coordinate with local building officials as needed
- What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
- Experience managing projects valued at $3 million or more
- Prior experience with structural remediation or foundation replacement scopes strongly preferred
- Construction document literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction
- Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and tradesOSHA 30-Hour Certified
- Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office preferred
- Traveling candidates strongly preferred, as future assignments may be located elsewhere in the Southeast
- A valid driver's license
- A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000, based on experience
