About the role

Job Description: Hand Finisher / Deburrer position available in Monrovia, CA. Monday-Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm Working under general supervision, remove burrs, break edges, clean, and remove contamination from machine finished products. Prepare and package finished products for shipment.
Essential Functions: • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches and other product/engineer specifications.• Use hand tools such as swivel blades, exacto knife, scrapers, countersink and chamfering tools, etc. to deburr machine finished products to customer drawings and specifications.• Use drill press, dermal tools, tumbler, ultrasonic cleaner, cryogenic, micro air blaster, etc. to deburr machine finished products to customer drawings and specifications.• Remove burrs, break edges, clean, and remove contamination from machine finished products, as required on customer drawings and specifications.• Clean products with various solvents/liquids as needed.• Select lighting aids and visual magnification in order to ensure no visible burrs can be seen under various magnification strengths as required by customer specifications.• Package finished products in polybags, boxes, etc. according to customer specifications and accurately label finished products as required.• Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: Previous experience working in a machine shop/manufacturing environment performing hand-finishing and/or deburring tasks is a plus. Must be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints. Strong attention to detail skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently is essential. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and respond to unforeseen requests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nCompany
