Job Title: Vice President, Fund Controller
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000 base salary plus 25-30% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of the US Finance team
  • Support Finance workstream for the setup of fund administration, transfer agency and custody
  • Manage the relationships with the fund administrator, transfer agent, custodian, valuation agent and auditors
  • Partner with Data Intelligence & Analytics, Technology and Change to mature the daily NAV platform
  • Help shape valuation policy and methodology for the Equity and Credit funds
  • Support and influence launch of new fund launches
  • Oversee the end-to-end daily NAV production cycle
  • Drive execution of the US team’s role in the daily cycle: T0 cashflow monitoring, administrator submission, FX lockdown and final NAV consistency, acting as failsafe for reconciliation and sign-off where required
  • Oversee the internal valuation process and Valuation Committee interaction, ensuring portfolio NAV is accurate, material adjustments are appropriately reviewed, and any fundamental changes are approved and documented
Key Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience within private equity / alternative fund environmentCPA required Open ended PE or HF experience is required
