Role Description: The Property and Casualty Insurance Producer is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Collins, CO. The individual in this position will identify and prospect new clients, conduct coverage reviews, and prepare customized quotes for personal and commercial property and casualty insurance lines. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing risks, recommending appropriate policies, and clearly explaining coverage options, pricing, and terms. The role involves managing renewals, handling policy changes, and collaborating with underwriting and service teams to ensure accurate and timely processing. The Producer will maintain detailed records in the agency’s systems, follow up on leads, and participate in networking, community events, and referral-building activities to grow the book of business while adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, coverage forms, and basic risk management concepts. Strong client-facing skills, including relationship building, consultative sales, active listening, and clear communication. Solid organizational and time-management abilities to manage pipelines, renewals, documentation, and follow-up tasks. Comfort with using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software for documentation and reporting. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams while independently driving sales and meeting performance goals. Active Property and Casualty insurance license for the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related discipline is a plus.
