This role is pivotal in leading and managing a team of Regional Directors and Account Executives, with a focus on the 50 to 9,999 life segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with company objectives. The VP will also be tasked with fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the sales team, as well as overseeing the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities in the region. Applicants for the VP, Mid-Market Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in sales leadership and management, with a proven track record of delivering against team quotas. Extensive experience working with benefits brokers and consultants is essential. The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
