About the role

Our Veterans have served our country well. Now is the time to volunteer to be a friendly visitor to a veteran who is facing their final tour of duty. No hands-on care required. Just someone to be a friendly support who understands and has served our country. A veteran receiving hospice care may live in their own home, assisted living center, nursing home or reside with a family member. These visits are extremely flexible. Full training provided. Help make a difference to a Veteran. Listen to their story. Share the camaraderie. Go and change YOUR world. Thank you."The last good thing that may happen in a person's life is a hospice volunteer"

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
