About the role
- Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings
- Provide massages ranging from 30-110 minutes for scheduled clients and walk-ins
- Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history and overall wellness
- Guide clients through our service offerings
- Recommend treatment plans that include suggestions for better health including yoga, acupuncture, meditation, tea and other remedies to assist clients on their wellness journey
- Take detailed histories, including information about injuries and chronic health conditions
- Complete SOAP notes after each session
- Customize sessions around specific complaints or problem areas
- Provide client with Wellness Prescriptions as needed
- Build strong client practitioner relationships which result in a returning local clients
- Ability to work 15-20+hrs a week
- Frequent bending at waist
- Ability to assist disabled clients
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Live a tobacco-free lifestyle
- Report to work free from any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
- Compensation$30-$40 per hour service + gratuities, based on experience
