The role: At an independent broker-dealer such as LPL Financial, Osaic, or Commonwealth, you helped advisors and firm owners grow their practices and solve business problems. At Alaris, you will guide those owners through succession, partnership, and sale decisions, where the stakes are highest and the right advisor matters most. This is a full-cycle origination role. You will source, pitch, and close new advisory engagements with wealth management firm owners, including independent and hybrid RIAs. Once an engagement is signed, you hand the client to our deal and transition teams, and you go back to building your pipeline.
What you will do: Build and work a pipeline of firm owners who are thinking about succession, partnership, or a sale Lead first meetings and discovery conversations to understand each owner's goals, business, and ideal outcome Present the Alaris approach and Lens platform, and win signed advisory engagements Develop referral relationships across the independent broker-dealer and RIA ecosystem Represent Alaris at conferences, study groups, and industry events Hand off each signed client with a complete, accurate record of what you learned and committed Keep your pipeline current in our CRM
What we are looking for: 5+ years as a Regional Director, Market Leader, Vice President of Business Development, or in a comparable advisor recruiting, relationship management, or business development role at an independent broker-dealer such as LPL Financial, Osaic, or Commonwealth Financial Network A real network of independent and hybrid advisors and firm owners, ideally firms with $2M to $15M in annual revenue A track record of recruiting and growth: advisors or assets brought on, new affiliations, or significant asset growth xsgimln Fluency in practice economics: revenue, margins, affiliation models, ownership structure, and the move from broker-dealer to RIA Comfort closing a long-cycle, high-trust decision without a large brand behind you Discipline to follow through on every commitment and keep a pipeline organized Bachelor's degree; CFP, CFA, CIMA, or similar designations are a plus Why Alaris A 100% success-fee model that lines up our interests with our clients' interests Proprietary buyer intelligence that gives you a clear point of difference in every conversation A small, direct team where your results are visible and rewarded Base compensation of $200,000 to $250,000, plus performance bonuses tied to results Alaris Acquisitions is an equal opportunity employer.
