Role Description:
The Licensed Financial Services Professional will provide client-focused financial guidance and solutions in an on-site, full-time role based in Henrico, VA. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their financial objectives, analyzing their current financial situation, and developing tailored strategies for savings, investments, insurance, and retirement planning. The role involves presenting recommendations in a clear and accessible way, following up regularly to adjust plans as clients’ needs evolve, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements. The professional will collaborate with internal team members, stay current on financial products and market trends, and adhere to all compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED — a college degree usually is not required.
- Complete a state-approved pre-licensing course if required by your state.
- Pass the Life Insurance licensing exam.
- Complete fingerprinting/background check, where required.
- Apply for your state insurance license.
- Get appointed with an insurance company or agency so you can sell that company's products.
- Complete required continuing education to keep your license active.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
