Job Description:
Steel DetailerA rapidly growing steel construction company is seeking structural steel and/or miscellaneous detailer. Prepare detailed shop drawings, erection plans and piece details for miscellaneous and structural steel Coordinate with engineers, project managers, architects, fabricators, and installers to resolve design conflicts and ensure project accuracy. Incorporate revisions, RFIs, and change orders into project drawings while maintaining organized document control. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable project specifications, AISC standards, AWS welding requirements, and industry best practices. Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in identifying potential fabrication or installation issues before production begins. Experience with AutoCAD required and Tekla and/or Revit preferred, but not required Benefits include medical, 401k, and vacation time and a flexible work environment.
