Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening upon hire
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Participate in in-service and continuing education programs, staff meetings, and client conferences as requested by the immediate supervisor
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar positions is preferred but not required
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, including active listening, thoughtful questioning, and respectful communication
- Social perceptiveness and awareness of others’ needs and reactions
- Proactive and compassionate, consistently seeking ways to support others
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
